A Few of My Favorite Deals at Walgreens 5/15-5/21

This week at Walgreens you can score some pretty great deals on toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, antacid and licorice – all of the essentials – right? 😉

Here are some of my favorite that I plan to do:

Colgate Select Toothpaste 3.5 to 4.6 oz $2.99 = $1.50 RR
Use the $1/1 any Colgate Total, Colgate Optic White, Colgate Enamel Health or Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste printable coupon
Pay $1.99
Get back a $1.50 RR
Final cost only 49¢

Softsoap or Irish Spring Body Wash 15 or 18 oz or Select Bar Soap 3 pack $3.99 = $2.50 RR
Use the $1/1 Softsoap Body Wash 15 oz+ coupon found in the 5/1 SS (exp 5/21)
Or use the $1/1 Irish Spring Body Wash (excludes 2.5 oz ) coupon found in the 5/1 SS (exp 5/21)
Or $1/1 Irish Spring Multi-Bar Soap Packs 6 pk+ coupon found in the 5/1 SS (exp 5/21)
Pay $2.99
Get back a $2.50 RR
Final cost only 49¢

Twizzlers 11 to 16 oz (select varieties) 2/$4

Use the $1/2 Twizzlers or Jolly Rancher Candy 11 oz+ coupon found in the 5/15 SS (exp 7/10)
Pay $3
Get back 1,000 Bonus Points ($1 reward)
Final cost 2/$2, only $1 per package

Suave Shampoo or Conditioner 12.6 to 28 oz or Select Stylers $2.99
Buy 1 = 1,000 Bonus Points ($1 reward)
Use the $1.50/1 Suave Professionals Gold Hair Care Product (excludes luxe styling products and 2 oz) coupon found in the 5/15 RP (exp 6/11)
Final cost after points only 49¢

Zantac Duo Fusion Acid Reducer 20 ct, 75 mg 30 ct. or 150mg 24 ct. $8.99
Use the $4/1 Zantac Duo Fusion 20 ct+ printable coupon
And, use the $4/1 Zantac Acid Reducer: Duo Fusion 20 ct, 75 mg 30 ct. or 150 mg 24 ct. Walgreens Store coupon found in the May Savings Booklet
Final cost only $0.99

If you were to go into the store and purchase these items – you would only pay $10.47 for $22.96 worth of products AND you would have $4 in register rewards to spend at a later time and 1,000 Bonus Points which equals $1! Not too shabby!

Just remember, Walgreens handles coupons a little differently that other stores do. You are only allowed to have as many coupons as products and that included in-store coupons and register rewards. So if you were doing this scenario, you would have 6 items to purchase and 6 coupons being used (those coupons from the May Savings Booklet count too). This would work without that dreaded register beep! But, if you were going to use some previous Register Rewards to lower your out-of-pocket expense, make sure you have as many items as individual RR. Even it’s just a .25 pencil or pack of gum – just to make sure the numbers come out!

About Jenn's Stockpile

Welcome to Jenn’s Stockpile, saving money has never been easier! I’m a shopper at heart and love to find and SHARE a bargain. The summer of 2010 I discovered my passion for couponing and have been saving 50%-90% on each of my shopping trips. Because of this, I currently have a stockpile that is large enough to sustain my neighborhood should a zombie apocalypse ensue. It is my hope that what information I have can be helpful to you and your family. My shopping trips aren’t always perfect, but nothing is a bigger thrill to me than walking out of the store, knowing I got the best bargain possible and I’d love to show you how to do this too. Keep calm and coupon on!
