While at my Staples store, grabbing all the great back-to-school deals, I decided to take a walk down the other aisles just to see what other bargains I could grab. Imagine my surprise to find an entire shelf of health and beauty items. Imagine more surprise when I saw that everything was on clearance!! Apparently, Staples sells these items along with paper and cleaning products – who knew?? AND, not only do they accept manufacturer coupons, but if the coupon has a higher value than the item you are buying, the overage will be applied to the rest of your order!! Sweet!

While checking out with my very patient cashier, I mentioned that I wasn’t aware that they had all these items for sale here. She replied, “Nobody does, this stuff is always going on clearance!! Plus, there is no tax on these items.” Good to know, I’ll be making it a point to check these shelves while there snagging all the great back-to-school items. PLUS, if you know you are getting a great deal and your coupon overage will essentially be paying for your entire order, do something good for your community and donate that $1 to schools in need – my very nice cashier asked me if I would be willing to donate at the beginning of my order and I am so glad I did!

About Jenn's Stockpile

Welcome to Jenn’s Stockpile, saving money has never been easier! I’m a shopper at heart and love to find and SHARE a bargain. The summer of 2010 I discovered my passion for couponing and have been saving 50%-90% on each of my shopping trips. Because of this, I currently have a stockpile that is large enough to sustain my neighborhood should a zombie apocalypse ensue. It is my hope that what information I have can be helpful to you and your family. My shopping trips aren’t always perfect, but nothing is a bigger thrill to me than walking out of the store, knowing I got the best bargain possible and I’d love to show you how to do this too. Keep calm and coupon on!
